Hello and  Welcome to my blog that wasn't supposed to be...

 

My name is Annie Rodriguez-Sjonvall.  And I'm NOT supposed to have cancer.  I'm married to my best friend for over 10 years and the mother of 2 incredible young children.   I eat healthy, drink wine socially, I don't get sick very often, I'm not overweight, I'm only 42 years old, and I don't have genetic cancer in my family history.  But here I am writing my first blog about this journey because on Dec 23rd 2022 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.

 

This blog is for family and friends to keep up with my journey along the way.   It will keep everyone informed on whats happening with my treatment and how I'm doing.  Although this is intended for those who know me, if anything here can help just one person get checked early or not feel alone on their journey, then this crappy hand I was dealt will be worth it.
